Billboard divulga lista de artistas com o maior número de músicas em primeiro lugar no Hot 100

A Billboard Hot 100, é a lista mais cobiçada para o mundo da música, todos os artistas que sonham com o grande sucesso, querem estar bem colocados nela. Com mais de 30 mil músicas já listadas no Hot 100 e mais de 65 anos de história, 1.151 alcançaram o primeiro lugar (gráfico de 19 de agosto de 2023) 3,8% selecionados.

Dentro desse montante, conseguir emplacar mais de uma música como número 1 no Hot 100, é algo muito raro, tanto que apenas 10 artistas conseguiram realizar esse feito 10 vezes. A Billboard, divulgou nesta quinta (17), essa lista “elite”, onde 8 deles são artistas solos e apenas 2 artistas em grupo. E é claro, que os quatro garotos de Liverpoll lideram em disparada, os Beatles, conseguiu colocar 20 músicas no primeiro lugar – um recorde que eles mantêm desde 1965, quando ultrapassaram Elvis Presley.

O próprio rei, não conseguiu emplacar 10 músicas no HOT 100, mas vale ressaltar, que Elvis começou a sua carreira, antes mesmo dessa lista existir, portanto colocou apenas 7 músicas no topo da lista. Outros artistas que estão fora da lista “elite”, mas chegaram muito perto, são: Bee Gees, Elton John, Katy Perry, Paul McCartney (solo e com Wings), Taylor Swift e Usher, chegando ao topo do Hot 100 nove vezes, enquanto Beyoncé (excluindo Destiny’s Child’s quatro líderes com ela como membro), Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars, George Michael (excluindo dois cobrados exclusivamente para Wham!) e The Rolling Stones têm oito cada.
