Premiação reúne pop global, rock, rap, K-pop, música latina e brasileira em uma das edições mais diversas da história

A 68ª edição do Grammy Awards acontece neste domingo (1º), diretamente da Crypto.com Arena, em Los Angeles. Considerada a principal noite da música mundial, a cerimônia celebra gravações lançadas entre o segundo semestre de 2024 e agosto de 2025, refletindo um período marcado por diversidade estética, cruzamentos culturais e mudanças estruturais no pop global.

No Brasil, a transmissão ao vivo começa às 21h30, no horário de Brasília, com exibição pelo canal TNT e pela plataforma Max. A apresentação fica novamente sob o comando do comediante Trevor Noah, que assume o posto de anfitrião pela sexta vez consecutiva, consolidando-se como um dos nomes mais duradouros à frente da premiação.

O rock no Grammy 2026: presença simbólica em um cenário dominado pelo pop

Mesmo em uma edição marcada pelo pop global, pelo rap e pela força da música urbana, o rock mantém presença simbólica no Grammy 2026, ainda que fora do centro das atenções. O gênero aparece diluído em vertentes alternativas e em artistas que transitam entre o rock, o indie e o pop contemporâneo, refletindo uma mudança clara de posição dentro da indústria. Em vez de dominar as grandes categorias, o rock surge como linguagem incorporada a novas estéticas, seja nas apresentações ao vivo, seja em indicações que dialogam com guitarras, bandas e formatos clássicos reinterpretados para o presente. É um retrato fiel do momento atual do gênero, menos hegemônico, mas ainda relevante como base criativa e referência histórica dentro da maior premiação da música mundial.

Palco diverso e novas regras de visibilidade

A Academia de Gravação confirmou um line-up que mistura artistas consagrados e novos protagonistas do pop. Entre os destaques, Sabrina Carpenter, indicada em seis categorias, sobe ao palco para apresentar seus sucessos recentes. Uma das novidades desta edição é a decisão de colocar todos os oito indicados a Artista Revelação no palco ao longo da noite. A lista inclui Addison Rae, Alex Warren, Katseye, Leon Thomas, Lola Young, Olivia Dean, Sombr e The Marías.

O Brasil no Grammy 2026

A música brasileira também marca presença com Caetano Veloso e Maria Bethânia, indicados na categoria Melhor Álbum de Música Global pelo disco Caetano e Bethânia Ao Vivo. O projeto registra a turnê histórica que reuniu os irmãos em 2024 e reafirma a relevância internacional de suas trajetórias.

Eles competem com nomes como Burna Boy e Angélique Kidjo, em uma categoria que sintetiza o caráter multicultural desta edição.
